Dr. Vladimir Reznikov practiced periodontics and dental implant care in the greater Chicago area from 1998 to his passing in 2021.
He began his collegiate education locally at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Dr. Reznikov continued on at UIC to pursue his DDS degree in 1995, and then his post-doctoral certification in periodontics in 1998. For two years following certification he served as Clinical Assistant Professor of Periodontology at the college.
Dr. Reznikov engaged in extensive training in order to provide his patients with optimal care. He was knowledgeable in all aspects of advanced periodontal tissue management, cosmetic and prescriptive tissue regeneration, and advanced osseous and dental implant procedures. He applied his clinical knowledge to accommodate each patient’s individual treatment concerns and customized care to meet their needs.
Dr. Reznikov attended many continued education courses to hone his skills, and assimilate evidence-based techniques, procedures and equipment into his practice, including at world-renowned institutions such as the Misch and Pikos Dental Implant Institutes.

Dr. Reznikov worked hard to remain at the forefront of his field and always put his patients first. He will be very missed.
Dr. Reznikov married his wife Bella in 1981. Together they have one son, who is likewise pursuing a career in the health sciences. Outside of the practice, Dr. Reznikov enjoyed reading, travel, and skiing, and deeply valued time spent with his family. Please visit his obituary for shared memories.
